The Sarajevo tram has an 11 kilometre long route, which runs across the city in East-West direction and to the suburb Ilidža west of Sarajevo. There are three intermediate loops and a short branch to the station. Since every possibility (terminating at intermediate loops and trips to the station) has its own line number, there are six lines.
This 'network' is operated by a municipal company called → GRAS (Gradski Saobraćaj Sarajevo).
