The Zwickau tram runs on a quite compact network of some 20 kilometres, which is laid out in metre gauge. A special feature is the section from Zentrum to Stadthalle, which has a three-rail track (metre and standard gauge) and is also used by the Vogtlandbahn diesel railcars.
